John Paulo aka "FlickPicasso" Tria is a self-taught Filipino Artist, Illustrator and Pop Surrealist that is based in Manila, Philippines. He is also the Founder and Creative Director of The Dreamers Studio that caters Illustrations and concept art for a diverse array of companies and publications worldwide which is a one man studio.
He have worked with companies such as Nike Footlocker Europe, Manny Pacquiao, Jinkee's Fashion World, Under the Floorboards and Magnasteyr Inc to name a few.
Year 2014, he started to focus on his style in traditional media -drawing and paintings and would love to build a mark with his style to the world. At first look his paintings can seem very illustrative and whimsical which narrates his feelings within each pieces. He is currently developing his own visual language to communicate his feeling to everyone. Each pieces he makes portrays and carries a message or a story. He dont want people to focus on art execution instead on the deep meaning within his art that always shows a reminders to everyone.
He gets his inspirations though nature, human errors, everyday life, surroundings, love, failure, success and his feelings and emotions and specially the experiences he encountered. When he display his art, he wants the viewer to capture the message and be part and relate to it.
